Properly good coffee. Honestly.

A play centre where the coffee is an afterthought makes for a long two hours. So it isn't one. Real beans, a real machine, and someone behind it who cares what ends up in the cup.

Eat in or take away

You don't need a child to come in

Plenty of people come in just for a coffee and a sit down, and that's exactly as it should be. There's a takeaway hatch too if you're walking past on Boothferry Road and haven't got time to stop.

If your little one is playing, order at the counter and we'll bring it over — you don't have to take your eyes off them.

Worth coming in for

The açaí bowls

Blended açaí, piled with strawberries, raspberries, watermelon and granola, then finished with chocolate. They look like a dessert. They mostly aren't.

These sell out. If you want one on a Saturday, come early.

The one they'll ask for

Milkshakes, properly thick

Layered, topped with cream and sauce, and served in a glass that's genuinely difficult to finish. Which is rather the point.
